What you receive

Monthly close, with the detail behind the numbers.

Beamarc connects sales, payouts and inventory records to the books. Choose the monthly work and reports your business needs:

  • Reconciled accounts. Match the bank, card and sales-channel activity in scope. Explain payout differences and identify missing records or unresolved balances.

  • Monthly financial reports. Receive a profit and loss statement, balance sheet and supporting schedules on an agreed reporting schedule.

  • Inventory and product costs. Where included in your scope, connect purchases, freight, co-packer charges and stock records to inventory and cost of goods sold. Identify gaps before relying on product or channel margins.

  • Cash planning and decisions. Add a budget, cash forecast or margin analysis when you need it. Put expected collections beside supplier and production payments, discuss the findings and record next steps.

Keep your existing bookkeeper involved, or hand over the accounting work in your scope. Agree who provides the records, who follows up on questions and when reports are due. Missing information and its effect on the reports or timing are explained.

Bookkeeping, monthly close and accounting advisory can be selected separately or combined. Scope, deliverables, timing and fees are agreed in writing. Tax preparation has a separate engagement.

Working with Beamarc

Work with a CPA who has run a product business.

You work directly with Sema Koch, CPA, Beamarc’s principal. She founded, operated and exited a consumer products business selling through Shopify and Amazon, managing its inventory, cash and books.

Her background includes more than 15 years across accounting, audit and operations, including Big Four and Wall Street audit roles.

Choose the work you need.

  • Keep the records current. Bookkeeping and reconciliations cover the transactions and accounts in your scope.

  • Understand monthly results. Monthly close and reporting add financial statements and supporting schedules.

  • Plan a decision. Accounting advisory can add a budget, cash forecast or product-margin analysis, alongside your existing bookkeeper if needed.

What happens before monthly work starts?

  1. Discuss your setup. Describe your sales channels, inventory records, current bookkeeping and the questions you need answered.

  2. Assess the records. A separate paid diagnostic is scoped and quoted before the review. You receive a written findings memo identifying gaps and any cleanup needed.

  3. Agree the work. Confirm responsibilities, deliverables, reporting dates and fees in writing. Cleanup and additional work are agreed separately.

Fees reflect the work, record condition, transaction volume and reporting needs. Tax preparation has a separate engagement.

Your questions

Before you get started.

Can you help with eCommerce and wholesale sales?

Yes. Agree the channels, records and reconciliation work in scope. Shopify, Amazon and wholesale activity need to connect to the same set of books.

Can you help with a backlog or an inventory difference?

Start with the records available and the periods affected. Before monthly work begins, a separate paid records diagnostic identifies gaps and any cleanup needed. It is scoped and quoted in advance, and you receive a written findings memo. Cleanup and recurring work are agreed separately.

How should I compare monthly close services for a product business?

Ask which accounts and sales channels will be reconciled, how inventory and cost of goods sold will be supported, and which reports you will receive. Confirm who supplies missing records, who follows up on differences, and what may affect the reporting date. Product margins, budgets and cash forecasts should be named in the scope if you need them.

Which records are needed for inventory and payout reconciliation?

The records depend on your channels and systems. They can include bank and card statements, sales and settlement reports, refunds and fee details, wholesale invoices, supplier and freight bills, co-packer charges, and inventory movements or counts. Beamarc identifies the required records and who will provide them before agreeing the work.

Why can sales and bank deposits differ?

A bank deposit can combine customer payments with refunds, fees, reserves and other adjustments. Payments and payouts may also fall in different periods. The reconciliation connects the underlying activity to the deposit and explains any amount still pending. The deposit alone does not establish sales revenue.
