For your business.
For you.
Beamarc prepares business and individual tax returns under a separate tax engagement. You can engage Beamarc for tax preparation whether or not you also use its monthly accounting services.
Each tax engagement has its own engagement letter, scope, responsibilities, timing and fees. We confirm the return types, tax years, filing jurisdictions and records involved before preparation begins. Tax preparation is not included in a monthly accounting engagement.

Agree the work before it begins.
Discuss your priorities and current setup. Before monthly work begins, a records diagnostic identifies the condition of your books and any cleanup needed.
The diagnostic is a separate paid step, scoped and quoted before records are assessed. You receive a written findings memo.
Agree responsibilities, deliverables, timing and fees in writing. Cleanup and additional work are explained and approved separately.
Discuss your accounting needsYour questions
Before you get started.
Can I choose one service?
Yes. Bookkeeping, monthly close and reporting, and advisory can be scoped separately. Support can also fit alongside your bookkeeper or finance team.
Can you help with books that are behind?
Yes. The records and periods affected are assessed, then cleanup work, fees and timing are agreed separately before recurring reporting begins.
What happens after I submit the form?
We reply to arrange an initial conversation about what you need. Recurring accounting begins with a separately scoped, paid records diagnostic. Tax preparation is covered by its own engagement letter, scope and fees.
How do we transition from our current setup?
The records, access and handover are agreed with you and your current bookkeeper or accountant. Responsibilities, open items and the start date are confirmed before work begins.
How are fees determined?
Fees reflect the work involved, the condition of your records, transaction volume and reporting needs. Your scope and fee are confirmed in writing before work starts.
How is additional work handled?
The additional work, fee and timing are explained. You approve the change in writing before work starts.
Do you prepare tax returns?
Yes. Beamarc prepares business and individual tax returns under a separate tax engagement with its own engagement letter, scope and fees. This applies to monthly accounting clients as well as tax-only clients.
Do we need to be in New Jersey?
No. Support is available remotely. In-person work for New York Metro clients is arranged when useful.
Who will handle my accounting?
Your agreed work is handled directly by a CPA. You can ask questions about the records, reports and accounting issues in your scope.
